Geographically challenged. I couldn't for the life of me figure out why it seemed to get dark so early here. I mean, London is roughly at the same latitude as Toronto and Halifax right? Ding dong, I'm wrong. Toronto's latitude: 43 39 N. London: 51 30 N. It starts getting dark at 3:30 and is pitch black before 5 pm, and still almost three weeks to go before winter solstice.

I've always been somewhat ambivalent about having a child. I thought I wouldn't mind having one but I didn't particularly need to. I wasn't at all prepared for the powerful emotion that overcomes you when you hold your sleeping daughter in your arms. It just doesn't get much better than this.
