It was monarchist heaven on the Beeb this long weekend. Commercial-free and nationalist to the max. I thought I finally had my fill of it all but Yukiko and I almost got run over by the Queen at a crosswalk on our street today and the giddy school-girl in me got all gushy again. I'm such a sucker for conformity.

Of course the only other thing on TV was football, so I have an excuse.
